KISS entered self-storage with battery-free, NFC-powered smart locks designed to remove the infrastructure and maintenance problems of legacy systems.
The technology was there. The commercial engine was not. Good Looks embedded directly into the organization to help build it.
The opportunity
KISS needed to define its market position, create demand, build a repeatable sales process, establish industry credibility, develop distribution channels, and turn an early-stage product into a scalable business.
That meant connecting the brand story to the systems and people responsible for revenue, rather than treating marketing, sales, and operations as separate projects.

What we built
Strategy and positioning. We developed the positioning, messaging, pricing, offer structure, sales narrative, and market education needed to introduce a different approach to smart access.
Sales and RevOps. We built the CRM, pipeline, outbound and inbound processes, demos, collateral, follow-up systems, forecasting, reporting, and automations required to turn interest into revenue.
Marketing and media. We created demand through product launches, customer stories, social content, email, trade shows, partner marketing, and ongoing creative.
Partnerships and customer growth. We built relationships across the self-storage ecosystem and processes for onboarding, success, expansion, and recurring revenue.
People and hiring. We recruited, hired, and trained the people to place in GTM seats, from sales and marketing to customer success, so the engine was staffed to run without us.
“We didn't just build a campaign. We built the entire engine.”

The result
In 18 months, the business grew from zero to $5 million in revenue, sold 50,000 smart locks, and added more than 200 customers across the United States and Europe.
The engagement left KISS with a defined market position, a connected revenue engine, new distribution paths, and a foundation for repeatable growth.
